Tashkent Day Tour from Shymkent

Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, has been in existence for more than 2,200 years. During this time, he went from an ancient settlement to a major city in Central Asia. The city has seen many memorable events and trials, and has seen ups and downs. Tashkent is the epitome of the very modern elegance that is characteristic of many capitals of the world. Being an oriental city, Tashkent has its own unsurpassed flavor. The city harmoniously combines medieval buildings with European architecture.

07:00 Gathering of the group at the Global Coffee House, 62 Tauke Khan Ave.

07:30 Departure to the Zhibek Zholy checkpoint

Arrival at the border, crossing the border.

The beginning of the excursion program, you will visit:

— The old city, where the religious center of Tashkent is located – the Khast Imam complex. It is here that the famous Quran of Caliph Osman (VII c.) is kept. In Khast Imam, you will visit the Barak Khan Madrasah, Till Sheikh Mosque, Abu Bakr Kaffal Shashi Mausoleum and the Imam al-Bukhari Islamic Institute.
Then you will visit one of the oldest bazaars in the city, Chorsu. After sightseeing in the Old City, you will visit one of the most significant monuments of modern Tashkent – the monumental complex “Courage”, dedicated to the strongest earthquake of 1966. Next, you will visit Peoples’ Friendship Square, the Sheikhantaur memorial complex, where the tomb of the great Kazakh biy the Elder zhuz – Tole bi Alibekuly is located. Kaldirgoch bi Mausoleum, as locals call it, is revered among local Kazakhs and pilgrims coming from nearby regions. Then you will walk through the Navoi Theater to Amir Timur Square, which houses a monument to Amir Temur, an outstanding politician and commander of the Middle Ages. At the end of the tour, there will be an evening walk through the largest all–season amusement and amusement park in Central Asia, Magic City. The streets of the park are made in the architectural styles of world cities – you can visit Paris, Barcelona, London, Berlin and others without buying a plane ticket!  

As well as a walk through the largest recreational park area in Uzbekistan – Tashkent City Park.
