There are many places next to Almaty where you can spend a great weekend, and the Turgen Gorge is one of them. The Gorge is famous for its coniferous and mixed forests, alpine meadows, lakes and springs, medicinal herbs and berries. During the tour you will see the statue of the Golden Man and visit the famous waterfall.

Tour itinerary:

Your guide and driver will meet you at hotel lobby in Almaty to start the tour. Depart Almaty and drive to Turgen Gorge. Arrive in Turgen Gorge natural park. See the Golden man and snow leopard statues. After, take a walking tour to the waterfall (no walking difficulty). Have some rest at the waterfall. Drive back to Almaty. Transfer to the hotel. End of the tour.
