Public offer
The tours are organized by Open Central Asia. In the future, the term “Company” will be used.
Prices
The prices shown at the time of publication are based on current costs and expenses. We reserve the right to change these prices at any time before confirming your order. We can also increase the cost of the tour in the event of new taxes or increases in existing taxes, changes in exchange rates or rising fuel prices. We will notify you promptly of any changes in the cost of the tour. Discounts, including the discount for regular customers, cannot be combined with other discounts or special offers. The total cost of the tour will always include the largest discount.
Payment
To conclude a service agreement, a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the tour price (but not less than $ 300) and confirmation of its receipt by the Company is required. After receiving the deposit, an invoice will be issued for the remaining amount, which must be paid no later than 45 days before the start of the tour (or within the time agreed with the Company). When ordering travel services less than 45 days before the start of the trip, full and immediate payment is required, unless otherwise agreed with the Company. In case of non-payment of the remaining amount within the prescribed period, the Company has the right to cancel the reservation or demand unpaid money.
Cancellation Policy
The cost of the tour covers income and expenses, including equipment rental, operating and administrative costs, staff salaries, etc. Since the Company incurs the main expenses before the start of the tour, a deposit is required to cover them.
Deposits are non-refundable. In case of cancellation of the tour or other services, the following penalties apply::
30 or more days before the start of the tour – loss of deposit
15-29 days before the start of the tour – 30% of the tour price *
7-14 days before the start of the tour – 50% of the tour price *
3-6 days before the start of the tour – 80% of the tour price *
48 hours or less before the start of the tour – 100% of the tour price *
or a deposit, if it is more.
Individual tours may have special cancellation conditions, which will be agreed upon with the client when applying.
Any cancellation of the tour must be made in writing and sent by the customer who made the booking. Please send a rejection email to your contact person at the Company and to info@opencatravel.com
There is no refund for unused services after the start of the tour. If you decide to make changes to the tour or end it ahead of schedule, all costs will be your responsibility. You will also need to inform the tour operator of the reason for the early termination of the tour in writing.
Cancellation by the Company
We reserve the right to terminate the contract for any reason before paying for the trip in full. In this case, we will fully refund all funds received from you. After full payment, termination of the contract is possible only under circumstances beyond our control that make it impossible to conduct a tour or provide services. Such circumstances include civil or political unrest, terrorism, natural disasters, and other force majeure situations. In the unlikely event of such circumstances, we will contact you immediately and offer alternative services or a full refund of all funds paid. No additional compensation will be paid in excess of the amount received from you.
Changing routes
Changes to your tour are unlikely. However, in some cases and under special circumstances, the Company may make changes to the program before or after the start of the tour. Most of the changes will be minor, and the Company will notify you of them as soon as possible. The company also reserves the right to change the details of the program after the start of the tour, if it is in your interests, but no additional compensation is provided. In addition, the Company will not pay compensation in case of cancellation or change of the tour due to force majeure circumstances such as war, riots, strikes, terrorist attacks, natural disasters, man-made disasters, fires, adverse weather conditions and other important external factors beyond the Company’s control.
Travel insurance
The Company is not responsible for unforeseen situations such as delays or cancellations of flights and trains; refusal of embassies or consulates to issue visas; unavailability of tourist attractions due to government actions; actions of accommodation facilities and other facilities visited during the tour; injuries and illnesses; loss of personal belongings.
Therefore, travel insurance is mandatory for all customers. When booking a tour, each client must apply for an insurance policy for the entire duration of the tour with a reliable insurance company to cover medical expenses, repatriation expenses, compensation in case of baggage loss and expenses related to cancellation or reduction of the tour.
In case of illness, you are responsible for all hospital expenses, doctor’s fees, and return home expenses, and the company is not responsible for reimbursing the cost of the tour in such cases.
