On this day, you will visit the old city center and get acquainted with one of the main places that best tell about the history of Almaty. The first stop is the park of 28 Panfilov warriors, named after the division of the Second World War, formed from immigrants from the Almaty region under the command of General Ivan Panfilov. The park itself is popular with locals and visitors alike. Inside the park, visitors will find the eternal flame, memorials to various heroic characters, the Ascension Cathedral, a Russian Orthodox wooden church that magically survived a major earthquake in the 20th century, and the Musical Instrument Museum, where you can admire a collection of more than 1,000 exhibits, including rare exhibits dating back to the 17th century.
Just a few minutes away is another tourist attraction of Almaty – the “Green Bazaar”, or the Green Market of greenery. This is an ideal way to get acquainted with a real oriental market, where you can find the main delicacies of different peoples living in Kazakhstan.
Then we will stop for lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, you will go to explore the main attraction of the city – the mountains of the Trans-Ili Alatau.
The Zailiysky Alatau National Park was founded in 1996, its length is 120 km, and the total area is 202,292 hectares. The altitude above sea level ranges from 600 to 5000 meters.
Medeo is an integral part of the Trans-Ili Alatau Park and a historical site of Almaty’s development as a city. The Medeo skating rink, located at an altitude of 1,690 meters, is the highest-altitude skating rink in the world. However, the main purpose of our visit is Shymkent, a mountain resort located at an altitude of 2,260 meters above sea level. In the 1950s, ski enthusiasts climbed the mountain for 3 hours with a 15-minute descent. Currently, it is a developed resort with modern equipment and infrastructure.
Today’s last stop is Kok Tobe Park, located at an altitude of 1100 meters on a green hill, this place is very popular among locals and tourists. Take a ride on a comfortable cable car, and in 10 minutes you will enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the city.
As soon as we go down the hill, we will return to the hotel.
Day 3: Charyn Canyon, Moon Canyon

At 07:30 Departure from Almaty to Charyn Canyon. (200 km)
Why is it so early? This allows you to maximize coverage of both canyons and viewing platforms. A regular bus tour only includes visits to the Valley of Castles, while our jeep tour covers at least four more breathtaking canyon locations that will amaze your imagination.
The panoramic place is the Valley of Castles in the Charyn Canyon.
We leave the cars in the parking lot at the descent into the canyon of the Valley of Castles. Take a bottle of drinking water and go down into the gorge. It’s a leisurely hike with several stops (50 minutes) near the Charyn river (2 km in one direction). The guide will tell you about the sights of Charyn. Short stop (15 minutes) by the river in the shade of the trees, you can take a picture there, and then we go back to the cars (1 hour, as the road goes uphill). 10 min. Relax by the cars, and then set off to discover other breathtaking landscapes.
Lunch boxes are included in the price.
Departure to the Moon Canyon.
The Moon Canyon is full of streams and small waterfalls. The road to the river is full of small rocky obstacles. After visiting the canyon, we will visit the observation deck — panorama of the Moon Canyon, top view. Passages are carried out on dirt roads, sometimes there are obstacles that can only be overcome by a car with a large ground clearance.
The descent into the canyon lasts 20 minutes. stop for a walk around the neighborhood.

After exploring the area, we return to the parking lot and drive back to Almaty.
Day 4: Ethnic village “Huns”

Departure to the Kazakh ethnic village “Huns”
The ethnic village is an ideal place for those who want to plunge into the nomadic past of the Kazakhs and experience it on their own. The village, located about 35 km from Almaty in Talgar district, is also a great place to relax in the mountains, where you can get some fresh air, go horseback riding and get acquainted with Kazakh traditional games and rituals.
From the moment of entry and the welcome ritual “shashu” to horseback riding in the mountains, you will be surrounded by Kazakh culture, hospitality and traditions.
An entertainment program awaits you. It includes:
Demonstration of felt products and inspection of yurts with a detailed description of each detail.
Conducting rituals of “Besikke salu” or “Tusau kesu”, which are still relevant in Kazakh families.
Equestrian games such as “Kyz kuu” – when a young man chases a girl to kiss her while riding a horse, and “atpen audarispak” – a fight between two young men on horseback.
Traditional dances and music, where guests will be shown the movements and will take part in a group flash mob
Master class on cooking “baursak” — traditional Kazakh pastries
A national lunch.
Optional: Guests can book a 30-minute or 1-hour horse ride to explore the surroundings and enjoy nature.
You will return to the city at 16.00. The rest of the day is free.

Recommendations for planning a trip:

Payment:
◉ Payment must be made at least 25 days before the arrival of the tour group to our bank account in accordance with the invoice received.
◉ Cancellation fees:
No fee will be charged for cancellations made 30 days in advance
If the reservation is cancelled 20 days before arrival, a fee of 50% of the total price will be charged.
If the reservation is cancelled 7 days before arrival, a fee of 100% of the total price will be charged.

This is a private guided tour. No other tourists will join you/your group during the tour.
You can choose the sequence of visits to the attractions yourself. You can choose a convenient start time for the tour: from 09.00 to 16.00. The tour can start directly from the airport / train station, where our guide will be waiting for you.
